Geologic exploration

Replacement of the mineral resources base is one of the most important strategic missions of mining companies. The company successfully resolves the issues of raw materials base development of the existing enterprises and exploration of new mineral deposits for its clients and potential investors. All works are executed by SGP with application of its own high-performance imported drilling equipment and state-of-the-art machinery equipment. Work organization is implemented in compliance with the active methodological guidelines on search and exploration of mineral deposits, and in accordance with the requirements to labor protection and industrial safety.

 

 

SGP executes prospecting and evaluation as well as exploration works for solid commercial minerals including:

• execution of works on prospecting and evaluation of promising commercial mineral deposits;
• execution of complete package of prospecting and geologic exploration works for commercial mineral deposits;
• generation of exploration programs with subsequent approval in the legally established order and presentation in expert organizations;
• exploration well drilling with depth down to 1200 meters;
• well drill sampling;
• research of hydro-geological and mining and geological conditions of deposits development;
• geophysical well logging;
• laboratory research of rock samples;
• cameral work on processing of geologic data received in course of field work;
• execution of check exploration and check hole drilling to research mining and geological conditions for the driving progress of permanent mine openings designed.

 

SGP company offers execution of hydro-geologic works to its clients:

• monitoring of geologic environment at operating mining enterprises;
• creation of observation wells network for monitoring of groundwater at operating, stand-by and closed-down mining enterprises, sludge collectors, tailing ponds and other hydro-engineering structures;
• drilling of observation, exploration and operational wells for water supply.
